| WINTERNATIONALS at Volusia December 26-31, 2006 Wednesday, Jesse takes 5th and 6th place in the money races. Thursday, Jesse takes 4th place in the Jr Sportsman II Heavy class at the WKA Briggs & Stratton Dirt Series World Nationals. And Saturday he takes 2nd place in the Lite class Nationals. Finally, Sunday, the last day of the year 2006, he takes 3rd and 1st place in the money races! WHAT A WAY TO END THE YEAR! |

| March 10th, 2007 What an Exciting Night of Racing! First, Jesse went to the WKA-FDDS state race in Volusia where he took a 3rd and a 2nd place in the Light and Heavy Jr Sportsman II (Blue Plate). Then, there was still time to make it to Dirt Devils Speedway 150 miles away in Land O' Lakes to take 3rd in the Blue class and to take 1st Place and the Prize Money of $500.00 in the Jr Pro Class. He raced until 3:00am, and got home at 4:30am, but it sure was fun! |
The November 4th, 2006 race at Dirt Devils Speedway was cancelled due to a BIG Money Race being held at Fruitland Speedway Park and Jesse was there for his most exciting race of the season! This was Jesse's first time racing on this track. First, he raced the regular points race and came in 6th place. But then came the Jr. Pro Stock race with $500.00 to win. Approximately 30 karts tried to qualify for the race, but only the top 20 made it into the race. Jesse qualified pole position! It was a 50 lap race, the most he has ever run was 25 laps in a state race. Jesse starting pole position was very nervous finding himself with five National and State Champions right on his tail. He still managed to lead the first 25 laps, lapping half the field. Then, they pitted to refuel. Jesse held onto the lead for about 15 more laps. Then he found himself changing positions a couple times in and out of the lead. At about lap 45 or so, he was passed by the #15 kart, with Jesse finishing 2nd place. He brought home a $250.00 check and more importantly, a great memory! |
